Industrial Alliance Investment Management
Gil joined Industrial Alliance Investment Management in 1999. He is responsible for the management of $1.7 billion (as of December 31, 2015) in three pools of assets, which include income trusts and dividend-paying securities. Prior to joining IAIM, he spent several years at Canada Life Investment Management as an investment analyst.
Gil brings to iA Clarington over 15 years of investment experience as a portfolio manager. He exploits short-term opportunities presented by the market to add to and trim his positions. His philosophy of investing allows long-term investors to benefit from short-term overreactions in the market.
Gil graduated in 1989 in business administration from Laurentian University. He holds the Chartered Financial Analyst designation, and he is a member of the IAIM equity team.
